LLDPE

Linear low density polyethylene (LLDPE) is a translucent material with a milky tint. It has high elasticity, low water absorption, and practically does not conduct electric current. Due to its dense structure, linear polyethylene perfectly withstands mechanical loads, stretches well, does not tear, and does not emit toxic substances when heated. The material does not lose its quality at low temperatures, so it is used to store frozen foods. Elasticity, tear, and puncture resistance are the best properties of the material.

Where is LLDPE used?

The range of linear polyethylene products is extremely diverse. Depending on the brand, it is used in various industries. Stretch films, food films, bags and packages, a high-gloss layer of shrink films are made from film grades. LLDPE is also used as one of the layers in the manufacture of co-extruded stretch films.
